Activity Programme

Exciting news; I have just received the programme of activities for our visit to Kingswood. All groups will do the same activities over the time we are there, just at different times. We have everything we asked for and much much more. The highlights of the programme are: Zip Wire, abseiling, climbing, Lazer quest, go-karts and quad bikes, circus skills and orienteering. There is also archery, but no-one will be able to defeat Robin Hood aka Mr Willatt!

Evening entertainments are a campfire, karaoke and disco/film - these we do all together.

Please note that we have not been programmed for any swimming activities, therefore swimming costumes are not required.

Hope you are all having a great holiday and you will all receive another load of paperwork related to the trip in the week after half term, as well as some really magic Maths to look forward to!

Buidling Towards a Successful Trip

Now that the SATS are out of the way, we can start to build towards a successful trip to Kingswood. This afternoon (Friday) the girls have submitted the names of 3 of their friends they would like to share a dormitory with - I will guarantee that they will share their dormitory with AT LEAST one of these friends, in reality it is often more than this. The centre will contact me nearer the time to confirm the sizes of the dormitories and then I will allocate spaces depending on the number of beds in the rooms. I will tell the girls their Dormitories (and activity groups) on the coach on the way to the centre - it all helps to build excitement!

The girls have also been supplied with a "Kit List", just in case they want to start getting things together. Please note the points on the reverse of the Kit List - what not to bring.

Further communication after 1/2 term regarding medical consent forms and contact numbers etc etc.
